New raid: the Sundered Vault, and the Warden class goes live

Eight bosses, custom scripted, tuned for 10 and 25. The Warden — our third custom class — is now selectable at character creation with a full talent tree and its own resource bar.

  • Warden: three trees, 41 new spells, custom threat and parry behaviour.
  • Sundered Vault: no attunement, weekly lockout, hard modes on the last three bosses.
  • Loot tables carry new item models; transmog is enabled for all of them.

Race balance pass and starting zones

All four custom races now start in their own scripted zone with quests through level 12 rather than being dropped into existing ones. Racial abilities were rebalanced against the Blizzard set.

  • Flight paths and hearthstone bindings added to all new zones.
  • Two racials that stacked with class cooldowns were split onto separate categories.
  • Fixed missing display IDs on custom race mounts.

Hardware move, patch MPQ, and account security

The realm moved to a dedicated box in Frankfurt — roughly 30ms lower latency across the EU. The custom content ships as a single patch MPQ you drop into your Data folder. Registration now runs through the authserver's SOAP endpoint, and optional two-factor is in the Control Panel.

Who's who on the realm

Account levels map to the authserver's GM levels. Anyone contacting you in game carries the matching tag — staff never ask for your password.

Holds ground with a custom resource that builds on damage taken and spends on area mitigation. Three trees, 41 spells.

How to connect

You need a clean 3.3.5a (build 12340) client and our patch MPQ. The patch carries the custom classes, races and zone data — the client will not load past the character screen without it.

Get a 3.3.5a client

Any English WotLK 12340 client works. If you don't have one, use our torrent or the direct mirror — both are verified against a known good checksum.

Drop in the Cerberus patch

Put patch-C.MPQ into World of Warcraft/Data/. Don't rename it — the letter decides load order.

Point the client at the realm

Open Data/enUS/realmlist.wtf in a text editor, delete everything, and paste this single line:

set realmlist logon.cerberus-wow.net

If the file reverts, set it to read-only after saving.

Log in with your account

Run Wow.exe — not the launcher — and use the account name you registered, not your email.
